Our Story
Our History
We were born in 1909, right after statehood, in Vian, Oklahoma. A few years later, the Armstrong family became our owners and set the course for our future. Family members still comprise the majority of our Board of Directors today. And family values are woven into our culture. So, when you bank here, you become part of the family, too. For more than 100 years, we have worked extra hard to help our customers achieve their dreams. We've created solutions. We've gone above and beyond to serve our communities. We've invested right where we live, working alongside other local businesses, friends, and neighbors.
We weathered the Great Depression and stayed strong through the Great Recession of 2008. Over the years. we've continued to grow adding locations throughout Oklahoma and Arkansas. Today, we're one of the strongest community banks in the country. We embody excellence and strive for the best in everything we do.
