RE-OPENING: Pending any unforeseen circumstances, all Armstrong Bank lobbies will be open by Monday, May 18, 2020. As businesses and other areas of community life are beginning to reopen, we have developed a phased initiative for safely reopening our lobbies.  Please review the Health & Safety section below for more details on the increased safety precautions we have implemented. 


Please keep in mind that we are offering EXPANDED DRIVE-THRU services and encourage you to use the Drive-Thru whenever possible. You can also bank with us anytime, anywhere with Online Banking and our Mobile Banking App.

Additional health and safety precautions...

As an essential financial institution, we are open and ready to serve our customers' banking needs. However, in response to recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as local and federal governments, we are taking steps to be very cautious and keep our team of dedicated bankers safe while also ensuring that we maintain top-quality service for our valued customers.

As we work toward safely reopening our bank lobbies, we ask you to please review the added safety precautions we have implemented to protect our Bankers and customers:

  • All tellers and lobby bankers will wear gloves each time they handle cash, deposit slips, or other printed materials.
  • Protective shields have been installed on lobby teller lines.
  • Bankers will continue to follow CDC guidelines, including practicing social distancing, washing hands, refraining from touching the face, self-monitoring temperatures, etc.
  • Six-foot distance will be maintained whenever possible.
  • Customers are encouraged to perform banking operations promptly and avoid lingering in lobbies.
  • We are refraining from handshaking at this time.
  • Bankers will wipe down all high traffic areas and surfaces at regular intervals throughout the day.
  • Customers may wear masks. However, bankers may ask you to temporarily remove or pull down your mask for customer identification.

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law Friday, March 27th, 2020, allocating $350 billion to help small businesses keep workers employed amid the pandemic and economic downturn. Known as the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), the initiative provides 100% federally guaranteed loans to small businesses.

Be aware of scams that request personal information through calls, direct mail, emails or texts. Unfortunately, during times of crisis such as this, the FBI reports increased scams such as:

  • Texts or emails to claim your government assistance checks
  • Fake medical supplies or at-home testing kits for COVID-19
  • Fraudulent or malicious donation campaigns or charitable organizations for COVID-19 relief, etc.
We encourage you to please be diligent in verifying the authenticity and security of these types of organizations and efforts, especially when a purchase or monetary donation is required. 

Armstrong Bank will never call, email or text you to request banking account information, login information or other sensitive data, such as passwords, user ID, security questions, and Social Security number.
